Privacy Policy

Last updated August 25, 2026.

In plain English

  • We only collect what you give us on our forms (name, phone, email, property address, project details) plus normal analytics that help our site work.
  • We do not sell your personal information and we do not run cross-site ad tracking.
  • We use your info to give you a real estimate, do the work, follow up, and support insurance claims when you ask us to — that is it.
  • If you opt in to texts, standard rates apply and you can reply STOP to opt out anytime. If you want to see, correct, or delete what we have on you, email [email protected] or call (973) 707-2154.

LGM Roofing Contractors ("LGM Roofing," "we," "us," or "our") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect through our website, our phone lines, and our estimate process, how we use and safeguard that information, when we share it, and the rights you have under U.S. state privacy laws including the California Consumer Privacy Act (as amended by the CPRA), the New Jersey Data Privacy Act, and comparable laws in Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah, Texas, and other states.

1. Who We Are

This site is operated by LGM Roofing Contractors, a family-owned New Jersey roofing and exterior remodeling contractor founded in 2006 by Luis G. Mizhirumbay and now led by second-generation owner Darwin Mizhirumbay. We are a GAF Master Elite® Roofing Contractor (ID #1112549), operating as LGM Roofing Contractors, LLC.

Our address: 140 Orange St, Bloomfield, NJ 07003
Phone: (973) 707-2154
Privacy contact: [email protected]

2. Information We Collect

We collect the categories of personal information listed below. We keep collection to what we actually need to answer your question, price the job, and do the work.

  • Identifiers and contact information — name, phone number, email address, and property (service) address. Example: filling out our estimate form.
  • Project details — the type of work (roof repair, replacement, siding, windows, etc.), the age and condition of your roof, photos or notes you send us, insurance carrier or claim number if you ask for storm-damage help, and preferences you share.
  • Communications content — what you tell us on the phone, in a text, in an email, in a form message, or in a chat widget. Voice calls to our office are generally not recorded; if a specific line is recorded (for training or quality) we will disclose that up front on that call.
  • Usage and device data — IP address, approximate location derived from IP, browser type, operating system, referring URL, pages visited, time on page, links clicked, and similar analytics data collected automatically when you use the site.
  • Cookies and local storage — small identifiers your browser stores that keep the site working, remember your preferences (including your cookie-consent choice), and support analytics. See Section 9.
  • Form security signals — Google reCAPTCHA collects device and behavior signals from your browser to distinguish real people from spam bots on our forms. Your use of reCAPTCHA is also governed by Google's Privacy Policy and Terms of Service .
  • Photos and documents you send us — pictures of your roof, drone photos, insurance adjuster estimates, HOA documents, or anything else you upload or email.
  • Aggregated, de-identified analytics — traffic patterns and search terms that never identify a specific person.

We do not intentionally collect Social Security numbers, driver's license numbers, government IDs, financial-account numbers, precise geolocation, health information, biometrics, or the contents of your email inbox. If any of that is ever needed for a specific reason (e.g., a permit filing), we will ask you separately.

3. How We Collect Your Information

  • Directly from you — when you submit a contact or estimate form, call one of our phone lines, send us a text, email us, message us on social media, or hand us documents on site.
  • Automatically — when you visit our site, through cookies, analytics tools, server logs, and security services like reCAPTCHA.
  • From service providers acting for us — for example, our lead-intake and scheduling platforms, our email/SMS platform, and hosting/CDN providers that log requests to our site.
  • From public and reputable sources — county property records, publicly listed business information, and (in storm-damage claims) your insurance carrier when you give us written authorization to talk to them on your behalf.

4. How We Use Your Information

We use the information above to:

  • Respond to estimate requests, schedule inspections, and give you a written proposal.
  • Provide the roofing, siding, window, door, gutter, and remodeling services you engage us for, including scheduling, materials ordering, permits, and job coordination.
  • Follow up on quotes, workmanship warranties, and service reminders (annual inspections, post-storm check-ins).
  • Assist with storm-damage insurance claims when you authorize us to — including communicating with your carrier and adjuster on your behalf.
  • Process financing applications you request (routed to a third-party lender — see Section 5).
  • Send marketing communications — only if you have opted in for them.
  • Detect and prevent fraud, spam, abuse, and security threats (this is the primary use of reCAPTCHA and server logs).
  • Comply with legal, tax, insurance, licensing, and contractual obligations (e.g., NJ Home Improvement Contractor recordkeeping).
  • Improve our site, our services, and our customer experience in aggregate.

We do not use your personal information to train third-party generative AI models. We do use AI-assisted tools internally to draft site content, triage new leads faster, and route emergency roof calls to a human — outputs are reviewed by our team and never replace a licensed contractor's judgment on the ground.

5. How We Share Information — CCPA / CPRA "Do We Sell or Share" Statement

We do not sell your personal information as defined by the CCPA/CPRA, and we do not share your personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising unless you consent. We have not sold or shared personal information for those purposes in the preceding twelve months. We do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of anyone under 16.

We do disclose personal information to the following categories of service providers, each of them contractually limited to using it only for us:

  • Lead intake, CRM, and scheduling — the platforms we use to receive form submissions, book inspections, and manage our project pipeline.
  • Communications — email delivery, SMS/texting (see Section 8), and phone service providers.
  • Analytics — Google Tag Manager (container GTM-K8J2NNQK), which loads Google Analytics 4 to understand how visitors use the site. No Meta Pixel, Google Ads remarketing tag, or LinkedIn Insight Tag is currently installed.
  • Bot / spam protection — Google reCAPTCHA.
  • Hosting, CDN, and site infrastructure — Amazon Web Services (S3 + CloudFront), Cloudflare for DNS, and our build/deployment platform.
  • Financing partners — when you request financing, your application is submitted to a third-party lender who makes the credit decision. See Terms of Service § 13.
  • Insurance carriers and adjusters — only with your written authorization, when we are supporting your storm-damage claim.
  • Professional advisors — attorneys, accountants, insurers, and auditors bound by confidentiality.
  • Government and legal — when required by law, subpoena, or court order, or to protect our rights, property, or the safety of our workers or customers.
  • Business transfers — if we are ever involved in a merger, financing, or sale of business assets, your information may transfer as part of that transaction, and the successor will be bound by this policy or one with equivalent protections.

6. Your Privacy Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have some or all of the following rights. We honor these rights for every visitor, regardless of state, to the extent required by applicable law.

California residents (CCPA / CPRA)

If you are a California resident, you have the right to:

  • Know what personal information we have collected about you, the sources, the purposes, and the categories of recipients (over the preceding 12 months, and in some cases longer).
  • Access / receive a copy of the specific pieces of personal information we hold about you, in a portable format when reasonably feasible.
  • Delete personal information we collected from you, subject to legal exceptions.
  • Correct inaccurate personal information we hold about you.
  • Opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of your personal information. As stated in Section 5, we do not sell or share for cross-context behavioral advertising, so there is nothing to opt out of. If that ever changes, we will post a Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information link and honor Global Privacy Control (GPC).
  • Limit the use of sensitive personal information. We do not use sensitive personal information (as defined by CPRA) for purposes beyond what is necessary to provide the services you request.
  • Non-discrimination — we will not deny you services, charge you a different price, or provide a different level of service because you exercised your rights.
  • Authorized agent — you may designate an authorized agent to submit requests for you. We will require reasonable proof of the agent's authority.

We generally respond to verifiable California requests within 45 days. If we need more time, we will let you know within that window and take up to another 45 days. We may need to verify your identity by matching information you submit against what we have on file.

New Jersey residents

We are a New Jersey business and take the state's consumer-privacy expectations seriously. Under the New Jersey Data Privacy Act (SB 332) and other applicable New Jersey law, as those laws take effect and where their thresholds apply to us, New Jersey residents may have the right to:

  • Confirm whether we process personal data about them and access that data.
  • Correct inaccuracies.
  • Delete personal data.
  • Obtain a portable copy of the data they gave us.
  • Opt out of targeted advertising, the sale of personal data, or profiling that produces legal or similarly significant effects. We do not currently engage in any of these.
  • Appeal a decision on a rights request (see below).

Even where the statute's applicability thresholds are not yet met by our business, we will honor these requests as a matter of practice for New Jersey residents.

Other states with comprehensive consumer privacy laws

Residents of Virginia (VCDPA), Colorado (CPA), Connecticut (CTDPA), Utah (UCPA), Texas (TDPSA), and other states with comparable laws taking effect over 2025–2027 (Oregon, Montana, Iowa, Indiana, Tennessee, Delaware, New Hampshire, Maryland, Minnesota, Rhode Island, and others) generally have the following rights, which we honor to the extent the law applies to us and to you:

  • Right to access — confirm whether we process your data and receive a copy.
  • Right to correct inaccuracies.
  • Right to delete.
  • Right to portability of the data you provided.
  • Right to opt out of targeted advertising, sale of personal data, and profiling.
  • Right to appeal — if we deny your request, you may appeal by replying to our decision. We respond within 60 days.

Global Privacy Control (GPC)

Where required, we recognize Global Privacy Control browser signals as a valid opt-out of "sale" and "sharing" of personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. Enabling GPC in a supported browser will automatically register that preference for the browser you use to visit our site.

Your Privacy Choices — California Privacy Rights (Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information)

Categories of personal information we collect: identifiers and contact information (name, phone, email, property address); project details (service type, roof condition, photos, insurance claim information you provide); communications content; internet/usage and device data (IP address, browser, pages viewed); and, where you opt in, SMS/text opt-in records. See Section 2 above for the full list. We collect these directly from you, automatically through the site, and from the service providers listed in Section 5 — we do not purchase personal information from data brokers.

Do we sell or share your information? No. We do not sell your personal information as defined by the CCPA/CPRA, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. The only tools that process visitor data on this site today are Google Tag Manager (container GTM-K8J2NNQK), which loads Google Analytics 4 for traffic analytics, and our call-tracking / lead-intake platform for phone and form leads. No Meta Pixel, Google Ads remarketing tag, or LinkedIn Insight Tag is installed. Because there is no sale or sharing to opt out of, a Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information link is not required by law today — we publish one anyway (in the site footer, linking here) so the choice is always visible, and we will honor it immediately if our practices ever change.

Your rights: know what we've collected and why; access a copy; correct inaccuracies; delete what we hold; opt out of sale/sharing and targeted advertising (see above — nothing to opt out of today); limit use of sensitive personal information; and receive equal service and pricing regardless of whether you exercise these rights (non-discrimination). Full detail on each right is in Section 6 above.

How to opt out or exercise a right: (1) use the cookie banner's Cookie Preferences control, available any time in the site footer, to change your analytics-cookie choice; (2) turn on Global Privacy Control in a supported browser — we detect and honor it automatically; or (3) contact us directly using any channel below. We do not require you to create an account to exercise these rights.

Contact us about this section: LGM Roofing Contractors, 140 Orange St, Bloomfield, NJ 07003 · (973) 707-2154 · [email protected] (subject line "Privacy Request").

This section was last updated August 25, 2026.

How to exercise your rights

Submit a request through any of these channels:

  • Email: [email protected] with subject line "Privacy Request."
  • Phone: (973) 707-2154 and ask for the privacy contact.
  • Mail: LGM Roofing Contractors, Attn: Privacy Requests, 140 Orange St, Bloomfield, NJ 07003.

We will acknowledge your request within 10 business days and respond substantively within 45 days (with one 45-day extension when reasonably necessary). To protect you, we will verify your identity in a manner proportionate to the sensitivity of the data (typically matching two or three data points you originally gave us).

7. Text Messaging & SMS Consent (TCPA + A2P 10DLC)

By providing your phone number and checking (or otherwise confirming) the SMS consent checkbox on any of our forms, you agree to receive text messages from LGM Roofing Contractors at that number for the purposes disclosed at the time of consent, which may include:

  • Estimate confirmations and appointment reminders (transactional).
  • Job status updates during your project (transactional).
  • Post-storm safety and dispatch coordination (transactional).
  • Promotional messages such as seasonal offers, financing promotions, or customer appreciation events — only if you separately opt in to promotional texts.

Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply from your wireless carrier. Reply STOP at any time to opt out; reply HELP for assistance, or call (973) 707-2154. Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of purchase of any goods or services from LGM Roofing Contractors. Wireless carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Text messages sent through our SMS program are routed under the wireless carriers' industry-standard A2P 10DLC framework, which governs application-to-person messaging over long code numbers.

Mobile opt-in data (your phone number and SMS consent record) is not shared with third parties or affiliates for their marketing purposes and is not sold under any circumstances. This is a distinct commitment from the general no-sale/no-share statement in Section 5.

8. Cookies, Analytics & Advertising

Our site uses the following categories of cookies and similar technologies:

  • Strictly necessary — required for the site to function (page routing, security, form submission, remembering your cookie-consent choice). These load without your consent because the site cannot work without them.
  • Functional — remember preferences like your service-area selection or previously entered form data.
  • Analytics — Google Analytics 4 (via Google Tag Manager) to measure traffic, pageviews, source of visits, and site performance. IP addresses are truncated for analytics purposes.
  • Marketing — no third-party advertising or retargeting tags (Meta Pixel, Google Ads remarketing, LinkedIn Insight Tag, or similar) are currently installed on this site. This category is empty today; we will update this policy before enabling any.

Because cookieConsent is enabled in our configuration, our consent banner controls non-essential tags: analytics and marketing tags do not fire until you accept them, and you can change your choice at any time through the banner's "Cookie preferences" link in the site footer.

You can also opt out of specific analytics and advertising ecosystems directly:

9. Do Not Track & Global Privacy Control

Web browsers offer a "Do Not Track" (DNT) signal, but there is no industry consensus on how it should be interpreted, and it is not treated as a controlled opt-out under California law. Accordingly, our site does not respond to raw DNT headers. We do, however, honor Global Privacy Control (GPC) signals as a valid opt-out of the "sale" and "sharing" of personal information — see Section 6.

10. Children's Privacy (COPPA)

Our website and services are directed to homeowners, property managers, and adult decision makers. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13, and our site is not designed for them. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has submitted personal information to us, email [email protected] and we will delete it promptly.

11. Data Retention

We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes described:

  • Signed contracts, invoices, and project records — retained for at least seven (7) years to comply with tax, insurance, workmanship-warranty, and NJ Home Improvement Contractor recordkeeping obligations.
  • Estimate requests and lead form submissions that never became jobs — up to three (3) years, then deleted or aggregated.
  • Marketing consent records and SMS opt-in logs — for as long as consent is active plus a reasonable audit period after opt-out.
  • Analytics data — retained by Google Analytics 4 per our configured retention window (default 14 months) and by us in aggregate form thereafter.
  • Server logs and security records — up to 12 months for troubleshooting and abuse investigations.

When information is no longer needed, we delete it or de-identify it so that it can no longer be associated with you.

12. Data Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your information, including:

  • TLS encryption on our site and estimate forms.
  • Role-based access controls and unique logins for our CRM and lead-intake tools.
  • Vendor selection and data-processing terms with our providers where they handle personal information on our behalf.
  • Regular software updates and security patching on the systems we control.
  • Employee and contractor training on confidentiality expectations.

Payment security. This website does not collect, process, or store credit card, debit card, bank account, or other payment-card information anywhere on its pages — there is no e-commerce or on-site checkout. If you request financing (Section 5 and Terms of Service § 12), any payment or credit-application information you provide is entered directly on the third-party lender's own secure, hosted application, governed by the lender's privacy and security practices, not ours. When you pay for completed work, payment is handled through our invoicing process outside this website, never by typing card details into a page here.

That said, no method of transmission over the internet and no method of electronic storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security. If we ever have to notify you about a security incident affecting your personal information, we will do so in the manner and timeframes required by applicable law.

13. Third-Party Links, Embeds & Services

Our site links to and, in some places, embeds content from third parties we do not control, including Google Maps (on the Contact page and elsewhere), Instagram, the Better Business Bureau profile page, GAF, and any financing partner we introduce you to. Those sites and widgets are governed by their own privacy policies, and their embedded content may set their own cookies once loaded. We encourage you to review the privacy notices of any third-party service you interact with.

Our site also publishes an XML sitemap and llms.txt / llms-full.txt files that describe our public services for search engines and AI crawlers. Those files contain only business information (services, service areas, credentials, hours) — no personal information about you.

14. International Users

LGM Roofing Contractors is a New Jersey business serving the United States. Our site, servers, and service providers are located in the United States. If you access the site from outside the U.S., you understand that your information will be transferred to, stored in, and processed in the United States, which may have different data-protection rules than your country. By using our site, you consent to that transfer.

15. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, our services, or the law. When we do, we will change the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. If a change is material (for example, a new category of sharing, or a change to your rights or choices), we will make it more visible — for example, a banner on our home page, an email to customers we have an active relationship with, or a note on this page for at least 30 days.
