These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a legal agreement between you and LGM Roofing Contractors ("LGM Roofing," "we," "us," or "our"), operating as LGM Roofing Contractors, LLC, a family-owned New Jersey roofing and exterior remodeling contractor headquartered at 140 Orange St, Bloomfield, NJ 07003. They govern your use of this website and any features accessible through it. Please read carefully, especially Section 19 (Binding Arbitration & Class-Action Waiver).

1. Acceptance of These Terms

By accessing or using this website — browsing, submitting a form, requesting an estimate, chatting with us, or calling a number listed here — you agree to be bound by these Terms and by our Privacy Policy, including the Your Privacy Choices section covering California privacy rights and Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old, have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement, and be a resident of the United States to use this site to request services. If you are requesting services on behalf of an owner (for example, a property manager or a homeowner's adult child acting under a power of attorney), you represent that you have the authority to do so.

3. Description of Services

This website is informational and a lead-intake channel. It exists to (a) describe the roofing, siding, window, door, gutter, and remodeling services we offer, (b) let you request a free estimate, and (c) put you in touch with our team.

Any actual roofing or remodeling work is provided under a separate signed project contract or written proposal that lists the specific scope, materials, price, schedule, warranties, insurance certificates, and any change-order procedures for your project. This website does not create a contractor–client relationship on its own, and nothing on this site is a binding offer to perform work at any specific price.

4. AI & Automated Content Disclaimer

Portions of this website — including some page copy, blog posts, FAQ answers, and conversational features that respond to inquiries — are drafted or assisted by artificial intelligence tools. We also use AI-assisted lead handling (including WebMCP-callable forms and automated intake routing) to move new estimate requests to a human on our team as quickly as possible.

AI outputs are for general information only. They may contain inaccuracies, may be out of date, and are not a substitute for a licensed contractor's judgment. 5. Estimates, Quotes, Pricing & Promotions

Any pricing, price range, financing example, savings claim, seasonal offer, or "free roof inspection" output shown on this site or generated by an AI-assisted tool is illustrative, not binding, and subject to change. A real number for your project comes only after an on-site inspection and is delivered to you in a written proposal.

Written estimates are typically valid for 30 days from the date issued unless the estimate itself says otherwise. Promotions, seasonal discounts, and referral offers are subject to their own posted terms and expiration dates and may be modified or discontinued at any time before an offer is accepted in writing.

6. No Professional Advice

The information on this website — including service descriptions, articles, FAQs, checklists, and any AI-assisted answers — is provided for general educational purposes. It is not engineering advice, insurance advice, tax advice, legal advice, or a substitute for a licensed inspection of your specific property. Never rely on this site to make a decision about the structural integrity of your roof, an insurance claim, a permit, or code compliance. When in doubt, get an on-site professional opinion — starting with a free estimate from us.

7. Licensing & Credentials

LGM Roofing Contractors is a GAF Master Elite® Roofing Contractor (ID # 1112549), a certification held by only a small percentage of roofing contractors nationwide. We hold and maintain the New Jersey Home Improvement Contractor registration required to perform this work in the state (NJ HIC Registration #13VH09733600).

Insurance certificates (general liability and workers' compensation) are available on request before any signed project.

8. Intellectual Property

The website — including its layout, page structure, text, images, project photos, illustrations, video, logos, trademarks, source code, and any AI-drafted content we publish — is owned by LGM Roofing Contractors or its licensors and is protected by U.S. and international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual-property laws.

Subject to your compliance with these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to view the site for your personal, non-commercial use in evaluating our services. You may not:

• Copy, mirror, republish, sell, or license any part of the site.
• Use automated scrapers, bots, or crawlers on the site except for public-search-engine indexing consistent with our robots policy.
• Frame, deep-link, or embed our content in a way that misrepresents its source.
• Remove or alter copyright, trademark, or credit notices.
• Use our name, logo, or GAF Master Elite® badge without written permission.

9. User Submissions

When you submit information through our forms — messages, roof photos, project pictures, reviews or testimonials, uploads, videos, or any other content ("User Content") — you retain ownership of it. You grant LGM Roofing Contractors a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, sublicensable, and transferable license to use, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish, display, and distribute that User Content in connection with operating our business (including marketing, portfolios, and case studies), subject to the Privacy Policy. You represent that you own the User Content or have the rights necessary to grant this license, and that the content does not violate anyone else's rights.

We are not obligated to publish, keep, or use any User Content, and we may remove it at any time. If you would like a review or photo you submitted taken down, email [email protected] with the subject "User Content Removal Request."

10. Acceptable Use

You agree that you will not, and will not attempt to:

• Use the site for any unlawful, fraudulent, harassing, or deceptive purpose.
• Submit false, misleading, or intentionally exaggerated information (including fake reviews, fake service addresses, or false insurance claims).
• Interfere with the site's operation, upload malware, or probe the site for security vulnerabilities without written permission.
• Bypass, disable, or attempt to circumvent security features (including reCAPTCHA, rate limits, or authentication).
• Harvest personal information about our customers, our team, or other visitors.
• Impersonate LGM Roofing Contractors, our staff, our subcontractors, GAF, or any other person or entity.

We may suspend or terminate your access to the site at any time, without notice, if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms.

11. Third-Party Services & Links

Our site links to and embeds third-party services, including Google Maps, Instagram, our Better Business Bureau profile, GAF, and any third-party financing partner we introduce you to. These services are not operated by LGM Roofing Contractors. Their use of your information is governed by their own terms and privacy policies, and we are not responsible for their availability, accuracy, or practices. Any dealings you have with a third party through a link on this site are between you and that third party.

12. Financing Disclosure

We can help you explore financing for a roofing or remodeling project. Financing is provided by third-party lenders, not by LGM Roofing Contractors. Application approval, interest rates, terms, minimum credit qualifications, and monthly payment amounts are set by the lender based on the lender's underwriting — not by us. Any advertised rate, promotional term, or payment example is illustrative and is not a commitment to lend. Your actual terms are what the lender discloses to you before you sign. Unless disclosed otherwise at the time of your application, LGM Roofing Contractors does not receive additional compensation for referring you to a specific lender.

13. Website Warranties — AS-IS / AS-AVAILABLE

THIS WEBSITE AND ALL CONTENT, INFORMATION, AND FEATURES ON IT ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE." To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, LGM Roofing Contractors disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, title, accuracy, completeness, or that the site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure. We do not warrant that AI-generated content, estimates, or informational articles on the site are accurate or applicable to your specific property.

This is a website disclaimer. It does not affect the express workmanship and materials warranties provided in your signed project contract, the manufacturer warranties for the specific products installed on your project (including GAF manufacturer warranties available to Master Elite® contractors), or any non-waivable consumer-protection rights you have under New Jersey or federal law.

14. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, LGM Roofing Contractors and its officers, directors, members, employees, subcontractors, and affiliates will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, or punitive damages — including lost profits, lost data, lost business opportunities, or reputational harm — arising out of or relating to your use of this website, whether based in contract, tort (including negligence), strict liability, or any other legal theory, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

Our total aggregate liability to you for all claims arising out of or relating to your use of the website is limited to the greater of (a) one hundred U.S. dollars ($100), or (b) the amount you actually paid to LGM Roofing Contractors in the six (6) months immediately preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions or limitations of liability, so parts of this section may not apply to you. In that case, our liability is limited to the smallest amount permitted by applicable law. This section does not apply to your rights under your signed project contract for actual roofing or remodeling work.

15. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless LGM Roofing Contractors and its officers, directors, members, employees, subcontractors, agents, and affiliates from and against any and all claims, damages, losses, liabilities, judgments, penalties, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or relating to (a) your use of the website, (b) your violation of these Terms, (c) your violation of any applicable law or any third-party right (including intellectual-property or privacy rights), or (d) any User Content you submit. We reserve the right, at our own expense, to assume the exclusive defense and control of any matter otherwise subject to indemnification by you, and you agree to cooperate with our defense.

16. DMCA / Copyright Complaints

We respect the intellectual property of others. If you believe content on our site infringes your copyright, please send a written notice under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (17 U.S.C. § 512(c)) that includes:

• A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or an authorized agent.
• Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed.
• A description of the material you claim is infringing and its URL on our site.
• Your contact information (address, phone number, email).
• A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.

We will investigate and, where appropriate, remove or disable the material and follow the DMCA counter-notice process. Repeat infringers may be blocked from the site.

17. Governing Law

These Terms, and any dispute arising out of or relating to them or to your use of the website, are governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles, and by applicable federal law. Nothing in these Terms limits any non-waivable consumer-protection rights you have under New Jersey law.

18. Binding Arbitration & Class-Action Waiver

Please read this section carefully — it affects your legal rights.

You and LGM Roofing Contractors agree that any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to (a) these Terms, (b) your use of the website, (c) any AI-generated content or automated tool on the site, or (d) any interaction with our lead-intake or scheduling systems (each a "Dispute") will be resolved by binding individual arbitration, and not in court, except as expressly provided below.

Arbitration will be administered by the American Arbitration Association (AAA) under its Consumer Arbitration Rules then in effect. The arbitration will be held in Essex County, New Jersey (nearest to our Bloomfield, NJ office), or by telephone or videoconference at your election if the amount in controversy is $25,000 or less. Judgment on the arbitrator's award may be entered by any court of competent jurisdiction.

Jury-trial waiver. You and LGM Roofing Contractors waive any right to a trial by jury of any Dispute.

Class-action waiver. You and LGM Roofing Contractors agree to bring claims against each other only in an individual capacity, and not as a plaintiff or class member in any purported class, collective, consolidated, mass, or representative proceeding. The arbitrator has no authority to consolidate claims or preside over any class or representative proceeding. If this class-action waiver is found unenforceable as to a particular claim, that specific claim (and only that claim) will proceed in court, and the rest of this Section will remain in effect.

Small-claims carve-out. Either party may bring an individual action in small-claims court in Essex County, NJ (or the small-claims court of your county of residence) instead of arbitration, as long as the action stays in small-claims court and stays individual.

Injunctive relief carve-out. Nothing in this Section prevents either party from seeking temporary injunctive relief in a court of competent jurisdiction in New Jersey to protect intellectual-property rights, confidential information, or trade secrets.

30-day opt-out. You may opt out of this arbitration agreement by sending written notice to [email protected] with the subject "Arbitration Opt-Out" within 30 days of the first time you use the website. Include your full name, address, and a clear statement that you want to opt out of the arbitration agreement. Opting out will not affect any other part of these Terms.

19. Notice & Dispute-Resolution Procedure

Before starting arbitration, you and LGM Roofing Contractors agree to try to resolve the Dispute informally. You must send us a written "Notice of Dispute" to the address in Section 24 that describes the nature of the Dispute and the specific relief you seek. We will have 60 days from receipt of the Notice of Dispute to attempt to resolve it in good faith through direct communication. Only after that 60-day period ends without resolution may you or LGM Roofing Contractors commence arbitration.

20. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable by a court or arbitrator, that provision will be modified only to the minimum extent necessary to make it enforceable, or, if that is not possible, severed. The remaining provisions of these Terms will remain in full force and effect. A waiver by either party of any breach or default will not be a waiver of any other breach or default.

21. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, our Accessibility Statement, and any signed written project proposal or contract you enter with LGM Roofing Contractors for actual work, are the entire agreement between you and LGM Roofing Contractors with respect to their subject matter and supersede any prior or contemporaneous discussions, marketing materials, or communications. In case of a conflict, your signed written project contract governs the actual work.

22. Assignment

You may not assign or transfer these Terms without our prior written consent. We may assign these Terms without restriction in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, sale of assets, or by operation of law. Any assignment in violation of this Section is void.

23. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will change the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. If a change is material, we will make it more visible — for example, a banner on our home page or a notice on this page for at least 30 days. Your continued use of the website after the updated Terms take effect means you accept the changes. If you do not agree to a change, please stop using the site.
