Roofing Crews

The crews are the company. They are LGM employees — not day labour and not subcontractors picked up per job — which is why the quality of a roof installed in one town matches one installed twenty minutes away.

A typical replacement starts at first light. The old roof comes off, the deck gets inspected in daylight, and any rotted sheathing is replaced before a single new shingle is laid. Then it is ice-and-water shield at the eaves and valleys, synthetic underlayment across the field, the GAF system installed to the manufacturer's specification, and proper ridge ventilation so the assembly can breathe.

Most homes are finished the same day. Where they are not, the roof is weathered in before the crew leaves — your house is never left open overnight.

The part homeowners tell us about afterwards is usually the cleanup: tarped landscaping, a magnet run across the lawn and driveway, and a site left tidier than the crew found it. Protecting the rest of your property is part of the job, not a favour.
