Certification is what actually differs
Each manufacturer runs its own contractor certification, and each reserves its strongest warranty coverage for contractors who hold it. So the question that changes your outcome isn't which brand — it's whether the person installing it is certified by that manufacturer to install that system correctly.
An uncertified installer can't offer you the top warranty
This is the practical consequence, and it is easy to miss while comparing shingle specs. If your installer does not hold the manufacturer's certification, the enhanced warranty is not available on your job at all — not withheld, just not on the table.
